Religious scholars term smog heavenly disaster, urge repentance
Scholars stressed on offering Prayer for Rain (Salat Al-Istisqa').
LAHORE (Dunya News)- Religious scholars have declared the prevailing smoggy weather as ‘heavenly calamity’ and urged nation to seek repentance through offering prayers, reported Roznama Dunya on Monday.
Religious scholars have termed the aforementioned religious act as only way to salvation.
They further added that such adversaries become inevitable in societies which make fun of Islamic norms.
Scholars further stressed on offering Prayer for Rain (Salat Al-Istisqa ).
It is pertinent here to mention that smog has engulfed most parts of Punjab and several people have died in ensuing traffic accidents.
