Refueling vehicle collides with PIA plane at Toronto airport

TORONTO (Dunya News) - A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane got hit by a refuelling vehicle at Canada s Toronto Pearson International Airport on Friday, delaying the Lahore-bound flight by 16 hours.

According to PIA spokesman Mashood Tajwar, the refuelling vehicle operated by a local company collided with the Boeing 777 aircraft and the plane was subsequently shifted to the hangar for necessary repairs.

Flight PK-798 was scheduled to take off at 7:40pm but a delay of 16 hours was expected due to the incident, therefore all passengers have been moved to hotels, the spokesperson said.
