Security personnel have launched an investigation into the matter to arrest the suspects.

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Following the Quetta blast on Sibi Road, some unidentified terrorists resorted to firing on Qambrani Road and killed Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Inspector Abdul Salaam.

According to details, the suspects fled the scene after the incident however, security personnel have launched an investigation into the matter to arrest them. The area has also been cordoned off to collect the evidence.



Earlier today, seven people were killed and 22 others injured when a roadside bomb hit a police truck in the southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta.

According to eyewitnesses, a white car parked on the roadside exploded as a truck carrying around 30 Rapid Response Force (RRF) personnel passed by.

Rescue teams immediately rushed to the spot and shifted bodies and the injured persons to Quetta Civil Hospital.

Provincial home minister Sarfaraz Bugti told media that a car rammed the police vehicle before catching fire, adding it was "apparently a suicide attack".
