Two terrorists of banned outfit were killed in exchange of fire with CTD in Multan on Wednesday.

MULTAN (Dunya News) – At least two terrorists of a banned organization were killed in encounter with Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Multan on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.

According to details, the CTD conducted an operation near Sher Shah Band in Multan on intelligence report that four to five terrorists are present in the area during which the militants opened fire. The CTD returned the fire as a result two terrorists were killed while three other managed to escape from the scene.

A CTD spokesman informed media that the dead terrorists belonged to a banned outfit. He said that the terrorists were planning to carry out attacks on security forces and sensitive installations.

The spokesman further informed that the law enforcement agencies have also recovered three hand grenades, a rifle and a pistol from the dead terrorists.
