Dengue in Peshawar kills one more, death toll reaches 42
350 dengue patients are being treated in different hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the moment
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Dengue fever has Wednesday killed one more person in Peshawar, and the death toll owing to the fatal disease has reached 42.
According to details, 51-year-old Pervez who was resident of Tehkal Payan was admitted to Khyber Teaching Hospital where he could not survive.
The Dengue Response Unit (DRU) has reported that blood samples of 1679 persons were taken in last 24 hours. Out of these, 351 patients have been tested positive and 123 are admitted to hospitals.
The DRU report has further informed that 350 dengue patients are being treated in different hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the moment.
