Khursheed Shah asks if house wasn't in order, why it wasn't brought into order under Sharif govt

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Opposition Leader in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has on Tuesday said that collision among the institutions will be dangerous but it was clear from the statements by the ministers that something was surely wrong, reported Dunya News.

Speaking at National Assembly, Shah said that if the house really wasn’t in order, why it wasn’t brought into order under Sharif government. He said that the statements by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif provided the enemies with an opportunity to do propaganda.

Praising army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s statement about continuation of democracy, Khursheed Shah feared that a collision among the institutions could be dangerous.

The opposition leader told that he had held one meeting with the ruling party over the issue of the appointment of new National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman. He told that he had requested nominations for the post from Prime Minister and other opposition parties.

Khursheed Shah claimed that the new NAB chairman would be acceptable to all and have a clean past.
