A suicide blast targeted a vehicle of security forces at Pakistan-Afghanistan border near Chaman

Chaman (Dunya News) – A suicide bomber targeted a vehicle of security forces near Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Balochistan’s Chaman on Monday. According to latest updates from Levies sources, at least one unidentified person has died and 12 others are injured.

According to Levies sources, a suicide bomber blew himself as soon as the vehicle of security forces passed by. According to the administration, ambulances and rescue teams arrived the blast area soon after. Security forces have cordoned off the area and investigation is underway.



Earlier, on July 21 a blast at Boghra Road in Chaman had killed the District Police Officer (DPO) Killa Abdullah Sajid Momand and his guard. While in August, bomb disposal squad succeeded in defusing two bombs outside the residence of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) leader Haji Essa s residence in the Guldara Baghicha area of Chaman
