PML-N has announced to take up the legal and political battle against 'conspiracies' against ex-PM

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Row erupted between the government and opposition members in Punjab Assembly after a resolution in favour of sacked premier Nawaz Sharif was approved.

The verbal confrontation was just about to get even worse when the provincial lawmakers came face-to-face at the stairs. The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced to take up the legal and political battle against ‘conspiracies’ against Nawaz Sharif.

Opposition members recorded their protest against the resolution in the parliament. Slogans were chanted from both sides against each others’ political leaders.

Certain MPAs even tried to initiate a physical scuffle outside the assembly. One such incident occurred between government leader Farzana Butt and PTI’s Muhammad Arif Abbasi who tried to attack each other. Abbasi escaped from Butt’s slap. Waheed Gull became injured in the episode.

PTI members kept on chanting “Chor Chor” and “Go Nawaz Go”. PML-N leaders retaliated with “Ro Imran Ro”. Security persons and Rana Muhammad Arshad interfered in the row and diffused the situation.
