ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to suspend Member of National Assembly (MNA) Ayesha Gulalai while a notice has also been sent to her over allegations against PTI chief Imran Khan.

Party chairman Imran Khan wrote to the National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq asking him to terminate the disgruntled and revoke her parliament membership. The copy of this letter was also sent to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

A copy of the notice has also been dispatched to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, urging them to take notice into the matter.

Earlier, Gulalai pointed out that no one can save the nation from downfall when due respect is not given to the mothers and daughters.

“Being MNA, it is my duty to protect the honour of women,” she added while explaining that Islam also preaches cleanliness of the soul.

She claimed a provincial minister from PTI had threatened to demolish her sister’s welfare hospital. “A PTI minister attacked Maria Toorpakai Wazir’s welfare hospital with his band of workers and threatened to demolish it. Where are the ideal police of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP),” she asked.
