PM assures issuance of Rs250 mn uplift funds to each MNA of ruling party
Abbasi has directed to issue Rs150 million immediately.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News)- In bid to leave lasting impression as country’s premier, charged-Abbasi has announced that MNAs are free to call him at any time whereas Rs250 million would be provided to each MNA from ruling party.
Abbasi says will not tolerate delaying tactics and urged elected public representatives to approach him with uplift schemes. Abbasi has directed to issue Rs150 million immediately whereas rest of Rs10 million would be issued ahead of 2018 polls.
Source privy to PM Office told our correspondent that several MNAs have expressed reservations over delay in issuance of uplift funds during party’s parliamentary sitting presided over by Abbasi.
