Quetta blast: 11 martyrs to be identified by DNA tests

QUETTA (Dunya News) – A forensic team from Lahore will reach Quetta on Sunday (today), and the identification of 11 martyrs will be done with the help of DNA tests.

The city remained in the grip of grief on the second day of the blast, and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also reached Quetta to review the security situation.

It is worth mentioning here that a terror attack was Saturday held on a military vehicle near Pishin Stop in capital of southwestern province Balochistan that borders Afghanistan and Iran, and claimed lives of eight soldiers and seven civilians while left 30 injured.

Spokesperson for the provincial government Anwarul Haq Kakar confirmed the number of injured in an exclusive talk with Dunya News. Reportedly, vehicles in the immediate vicinity caught fire and over ten water tenders were on the site to control the situation.
