It's proved that people still love Nawaz Sharif, said Amir Muqam.

JHELUM (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Amir Muqam on Friday has said those who see no one in Nawaz Sharif’s rally should get an eye treatment.

Talking to news reporters in Jhelum, Amir Muqam said that dozens of passionate supporters are welcoming Sharif in their areas whereas convoy has also increased manifold as supporters are joining it.

It’s proved that people still love Nawaz Sharif, he added.

He also said it is likely that the caravan will stay in Gujranwala tonight.

Earlier on Thursday, Amir Muqam said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has pushed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) 50 years back. He said that education, health, infrastructure and all other sectors have suffered under PTI government.

He termed Imran Khan as ‘Container’ Khan, saying that the people of KP had now seen the real face of PTI and wouldn’t vote them to power again.

On the other hand, Nawaz Sharif, who was ousted by Supreme Court (SC) under Article 62(1)(f) of the Constitution in Panama Leaks case, will resume his ‘homecoming rally’ towards Lahore on third day today (Friday) after an overnight stay in Jhelum.

The workers have displayed banners, flexes, party flags and posters on the route whereas more than 6,000 security personnel have been deployed to avoid any untoward incident. All the areas around the route will be sealed as the cavalcade approaches.

Addressing the rally after reaching Jhelum, Nawaz Sharif said that he had promised to do whatever it took to lead Pakistan towards prosperity and things have improved a lot during the last four years.

He said that he was ousted by 5 judges in just 1 minute. "Isn’t it a disgrace to the people of Pakistan that 5 honourable judges ousted the PM who you had voted to power? The people should ask them why they ousted Nawaz Sharif when he had done no corruption", he said.
