European Union condemns Lahore suicide attack

EU expressed its deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the attack.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The European Union (EU) on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Lahore. A suicide attack targeting police at the Ferozepur Road on Monday had killed 26 people and wounded 58 others.

The EU statement said that the vibrancy of Pakistani society, its diversity, and the clear wish of the majority of the Pakistani people for peace, must not be endangered by the minority who oppose or seek to destroy it.


The European Union also expressed its deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the attack. EU also wished a quick and full recovery for those who were wounded in the suicide arrack.


The further said that the European Union stands alongside the government and people of Pakistan in their and our common fight against terrorism and extremism. We are determined to strengthen our cooperation with Pakistan in this regard.
