Ring Road project: Punjab govt issues notice to vacate more than 300 houses

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab government on Friday has issued deadline to vacate more than 300 houses constructed for low-income people till the evening for the purpose of ongoing Ring Road project.

Talking to the Dunya News in connection with the issue, Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz said that we are building Pakistan and Punjab government is demolishing it.

He said that people have invested billions of rupees in this property whereas the government had not issued any prior notice in this regard. He said people will stay in their houses at any cost as this land doesn’t belong to the provincial government.
