Daughter of MPA Shahjehan tortured her helper, claiming his life
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Daughter of a provincial minister belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was accused on Wednesday of fatally torturing her helper, 16-year-old boy, following which an additional sessions judge granted her protective bail.
Reportedly, Fauzia, daughter of MPA Shahjehan tortured her helper, claiming his life, before locking up the house and ‘absconding’ the scene.
A petition that was lodged in court of an additional sessions judge branded the ‘murder’ part of a conspiracy being hatched against the family.
Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Mehmoodur Rasheed has vowed to extend legal support to the grieving family of the alleged slain women helper. He has demanded the provincial government to conduct an inquiry into the incident within three days.
Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and summoned a report from the authorities concerned.
Geo News quoted police to report that sister of the teen, Atia bore torture marks on her body as well.
Shahjehan was elected to the provincial assembly on a seat reserved for women candidates in General Elections 2013.
