Panama JIT has already told Supreme Court to lodge case against PM and his sons in NAB

(Web Desk) – Joint Investigation Team (JIT) for Panama case has declared the testimony of Qatari Prince Hammad Bin Jassim bin Jaber Al-Thani fake, apart from telling Supreme Court in its report to lodge case against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his sons.

JIT report reads that the financial details provided in the testimony are self-constructed, adding that it was only brought forth to fill the gap in Sharif family’s money trail. Also, the trust signed between premier’s children Maryam Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz has been called fake.

According to the report, Maryam Nawaz is undoubtedly the owner of London flat while documents presented by Hussain Nawaz, Hassan Nawaz and Maryam Nawaz are self-constructed. “London flats have remained under the use of Sharif family since 1993,” it said.

The investigation team has highlighted contradiction between statements of PM Nawaz and his children, adding that they consistently altered their stance during JIT interrogations. The London flats were never the property of Qatari royal family and the tale of financial ties between the two families is not true, the report suggests.

The second letter from Qatari Prince, presented by the Sharif family as documented evidence, claimed that the premier’s father Mian Muhammad Sharif had made an investment of approximately 12 million dirhams in Al-Thani family s real estate business and the amount was settled in 2006. “On account of [the] relationship between the families, Mian Sharif and his family used the properties whilst bearing all expenses relating to the properties, including the ground rent and service charges,” the first Qatari letter said.
