Pre-monsoon storms claim four lives in Punjab
Three persons were also injured in Khanewal as the roof a house collapsed
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The recent spell of heavy rains and storms have devastated several parts of Punjab as there have been reports of three people been killed by the calamities.
In the Ahmadpur Sial area of Punjab, a wall of a private school fell down and resulted in a father and son being buried under the rubbles. Both of them lost their lives.
In a separate incident in Sama Satta area of Bahawalpur, the roof of a house collapsed and resulted in the death of one woman who was burried under the rubbles. Two other women were also injured during the incident.
Three persons were also injured in Khanewal as the roof of a house collapsed while seven people were injured in the same sort of incident in Multan.
Two women were burnt when an electric wire fall down in Muslim Town area of Vihari.
Casualties were also reported in other parts of Punjab such as Shorkot, Mian Channu and several others.
