Lahore juice factory sealed over food tests failure
Contents of the juice packets were tested in laboratory: PFA chief
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed a juice factory on Sheikhupura Road on Sunday after a raid resulted in seizure of around 0.5 million harmful packets.
Director of PFA, Noorul Ameen Mengal said that contents of the juice packets were tested in laboratory and the factory was sealed for inclusion of harmful chemicals.
The regulators are fighting adulteration in generic milk sold in different Punjab districts on one hand and organised factories of packaged food on the other.
