ECP reveals how rich the four chief ministers exactly are

Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif and Balochistan CM Sardar Sanaullah Khan Zehri also own foreign assets

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has revealed the detail of assets belonging to public representatives, allowing us to know how rich are the chief ministers in every province.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah defeated his counterparts in the sum of assets. He has a whopping Rs. 316 million to his name, according to ECP. Speaking of the Sindh Assembly, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sharmila Farooqi stands as the richest women lawmaker in the country with a 100 tola gold and 135 acres of land.

Balochistan CM Sardar Sanaullah Khan Zehri and Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif also own assets outside Pakistan. CM Zehri is poor as compared to his counterparts but he too owns assets worth about Rs. 163 million. He has an apartment in Dubai which is valued around Rs. 50 million.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) CM Pervez Khattak has assets valued over Rs. 281 million, which makes the second in the list. Premier’s brother and Punjab CM, Shehbaz Sharif, is third on the list with Rs. 227 million as a sum of assets, including the London flats weighing around Rs 128 million.

He has shown himself the shareholder of Hudaibiya Paper Mills, worth PKR 2 million. His one wife Nusrat Shehbaz has Rs 27 million to her name while the other Tehmina Durrani has assets worth PKR 9.1 million.

Not to mention Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has shown assets worth Rs 1.6 billion while that of PTI Chairman Imran are Rs 1.4 billion.
