Karachi: 60 detained in police operation
Police carried out operation in different parts of Karachi on Monday and arrested 60 presons.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Crackdown against criminal elements continues in Karachi as police apprehended at least 60 persons during operation in different parts of the city on Monday, Dunya News reported.
According to SP City Division Shehla Qureshi, the operation was conducted in the jurisdiction of different police stations of City Division Police. Shehla Qureshi further informed that operation was carried out in Sangu Lane, Purana Haji Camp, Bheempura, Sirya Gali, Ranchore Lane and Old City area.
Police conducted house-to-house search in these areas during which 58 suspects were apprehended. The arrested persons were shifted to police station for further investigation.
On the other hand, a drug peddler Ismail Baloch was killed in firing by some unidentified persons in Chakiwara area.
