Heavy rain turns weather pleasant in Lahore
Weather turned pleasant after rain in Lahore and its suburbs on late Thursday night.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Lahore and its adjacent areas received heavy rain on Thursday night which turned the weather pleasant while breaking the intensity of heat.
Heavy downpour inundated roads and streets in different areas in the provincial capital Lahore and commuters faced immense difficulties while trying to carry on with their routines.
According to details, 45 MM rain was recorded in Samanabad area, 40 MM at the Jail Road, 38 MM at the Airport, 48 MM in Iqbal Town, 32 MM in Islampura, and 48 MM in Gulshan-e-Ravi.
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more rains in Lahore and other cities in the next 48 hours.
