Mayor Karachi rejects Sindh budget 2017-18
Wasim Akhtar says that 183 development schemes for Karachi were not included in Sindh budget.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar on Tuesday rejected the Sindh budget for the fiscal year 2017-18, Dunya News reported.
Lashing out at the Pakistan People’s Party-led provincial government, Wasim Akhtar said that 183 development schemes for Karachi were proposed to the provincial government after consultation with local government representatives but none was included in the new budget.
Wasim Akhtar expressed hope that the ongoing development projects in Karachi would be completed on time.
