ECP ordered PTI Chairman Imran Khan to submit reply prior to May 29 in the mentioned case

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – PTI counsel could not submit the party s financial details in the Election Commission of Pakistan, reported Dunya News on Wednesday.

As per details, PTI lawyer requested an extension on submitting the details from Chief Election Commissioner Justice (retd) Sardar Muhammad Raza during the hearing in Party funding case.

The judge granted the extension but inquired as to why the required details have not been submitted as the case has been pursuing for quite a long time.

Meanwhile, an extension was also requested in contempt of court case, since Imran has already changed his lawyer in the particular case.

The Election Commission ordered PTI Chairman Imran Khan to submit reply prior to May 29 in the contempt of court case.

It is pertinent to mention that a contempt of court petition was filed in the ECP against Imran over embezzlement of funds in the party.

The plea was filed by PTI s founding member, Akbar S Babar.
