ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Fugitive suspects belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) – London have on Saturday been arrested from a private housing society in the capital city, reported Dunya News.

MQM–London’s illegal business in the guise of housing society was exposed in the action. The gang was involved in occupying illegal land and sent the money earned to London. The suspect was arrested and weapons seized from him.

According to sources, Rangers and other law-enforcing agencies conducted a 24-hour long operation in the Top City Housing Society’s office and seized modern weapons from the office.

The suspect named Zahid Malik was arrested along with several others who had fled from Karachi.

The operation was conducted upon the request of a widow. According to the lady, a person named Moiz had threatened her and the family, and forcefully occupied their land.

It was revealed during the investigations that there are several cases, including murder cases, registered against the society already.
