'Birds' pop up every election claiming to turn Chauntra into Paris, Nisar lashes out at opponents
CHAUNTRA: (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan came down heard at the political opponents on Saturday claiming to have made roads ‘where only donkeys walked in the past’. He said that certain ‘birds’ popped up every election claiming to turn Chauntra into Paris, reported Dunya News.
Addressing a ceremony in his electoral constituency, Nisar said that the decisions on national issues couldn’t be made in streets as there were proper forums like parliament, superior courts and the court of the people.
He said that certain people wanted to spread chaos in the country and said that such politics would prove to be poisonous for democracy.
Addressing another public meeting in Rawalpindi, Chaudhry Nisar claimed that he had been offered bribes and huge portfolios but he spoke truth even before his party leadership. “Neither do I eat haram nor do I let others eat it”, he said.
Nisar added that some people were trying to fool the people with slogans but slogans and sit-ins couldn’t take the country forward, only actions did.
