PM Nawaz presides over meeting to discuss key matters

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday has chaired a meeting of ministers to discuss key issues including investigation report and notification over Dawn Leaks.

According to sources, the premier took cabinet members into confidence over Dawn Leaks notification and also talked on his visits to Saudi Arabia and China. PM Nawaz also raised the matter of protest staged by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) during the meeting.

Earlier today, Nawaz Sharif accepted the invitation of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques to attend the upcoming US-Arab and Islamic Summit in Riyadh.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Information and Culture Dr Awwad Bin Saleh Al-Awwad extended the invitation to the premier in a meeting held at the PM House.

The Summit will also be attended by the US President Donald Trump who will mark his first visit to the Kingdom since he assumed the Office as the 45th US President in January 2017. 

The meeting will focus on ways to enhance the cooperation between the Muslim Countries and the United States in the fight against extremism.
