Revival of economy is not govt agenda: Zardari

Asif Ali Zardari has said that the government is in a state of confusion after recent protests.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari while addressing businessmen at a dinner in Lahore on Sunday said that the revival of economy in the country is not on the agenda of present government.

He further said that the country as well as its economy is being run on the foreign loans. He further said that the government is in a state of confusion after recent protests by different political parties in the country.

Asif Zardari said that the PPP will preferably solve all the problems faced by business community soon after coming into power.

Other PPP leaders including Zulfiqar Khosa, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Samina Khalid Ghurki also attended the dinner. Asif Zardari left for Karachi after the dinner.
