India has changed the statement over pressure to surface the evidence in the light of its allegation

NEW DELHI (Dunya News) – India has taken another U-turn over false allegation of mutilating soldiers’ bodies as Indian Defence Minister Arun Jaitley accused that Pakistan assisted escape of the attackers.

Indian authorities have changed the statement over continuous pressure to surface the evidence in the light of its allegation pertaining to killing two Indian soldiers on May 1.

Arun Jaitley said that such an act cannot be carried out without the "protection, participation or the actual indulgence" of the Pakistan Army.

Earlier, Pakistan Army and High Commissioner in New Delhi, Abdul Basit had rejected the accusation of killing two Indian soldiers and mutilating their bodies at Line of Control.

In a statement by ISPR DG Major General Asif Ghafoor, it was stated that Pakistan Army did not commit any ceasefire violation on Line of Control or a BAT action in Buttal sector as alleged by India.

“Indian blame of mutilating Indian soldiers bodies is also false. Pakistan Army is a highly professional force and shall never disrespect a soldier even Indian,” he added.

Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor rejected Indian claims of mutilating the bodies of soldiers from the neighbouring country.
