Indian allegations of Pakistan incursion on LoC baseless: Asif
Khawaja Asif has said that Pakistan is fully committed to peace on the LoC.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Defence Minister and Minister of Water and Power, Khawaja Asif on Monday said that Indian allegations of Pakistani incursion on the Line of Control (LoC) are baseless. It is a deplorable attempt to ignite tensions for internal political motives.
Responding to the Indian allegations on Twitter, Khawaja Asif said that these baseless allegations are aimed at vitiating the environment, deflecting attention from troubles in Kashmir and demonising Pakistan Army.
He said that Pakistan is fully committed to peace on LoC and we expect prudence will b exercised on Indian side to avoid situation spiraling out of control.
He further said that Pakistan Army upholds highest standards of professional conduct and violation of LoC and question of mutilation of bodies does not arise at all.
