Prices of petrol, high speed diesel likely to reduce

Petrol price is likely to be reduced by Rs 2.35 per litre and high speed diesel by Rs 2.85 per litre

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The prices of petrol and high speed diesel are likely to be reduced from May 1 while the prices of light diesel and kerosene oil are expected to increase, Dunya News reported on Thursday.

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) of Pakistan will send its recommendations regarding petroleum prices to the Ministry of Petroleum on April 29.

According to details the price of petrol is likely to be reduced by Rs 2.35 per litre and high speed diesel by Rs 2.85 per litre. However, the price of light diesel is expected to increase by Re 1.40 per litre and kerosene oil by Rs 8 per litre.

OGRA will send its summary to the Ministry of Petroleum on April 29 and the new prices will be implemented with effect from May 1, 2017.
