The Rangers officials retaliated to the attack as the suspects also threw two grenades

KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least two Rangers personnel were injured in an exchange of fire with suspects when the the law enforcement officials surrounded a residential building in Karachi’s Urdu Bazaar on Monday.

As per details, the Rangers had reached the area for an operation based on intelligence information when unknown suspects open fire upon the law enforcement personnel.

The Rangers officials retaliated to the attack as the suspects also threw two grenades in which three personnel were injured.

As per Rangers’ sources, the suspects locked themselves in the flat and started firing from there.

According to last reports, more contingents of Rangers were sent as they started surrounding the area.

The search operation is still in progress in the area.
