Ahsan Iqbal said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was causing worries for enemies

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Ahsan Iqbal said on Monday that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) belonged to the existing government of PML-N while ex-President Asif Ali Zardari had no part in it.

He assured that the federal government was fully dedicated to link the mega project to all provinces.

The ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has challenged former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on the matter of CPEC.

In this regard, the Federal Minister for Planning Development and Reforms claimed that PPP Co-chairman’s agenda was of ‘No CPEC No’ instead of ‘Go Nawaz Go’.”If he has any agreement with the Chinese authorities then he should bring it forth,” he reaffirmed.

While talking to Dunya News, he stated that CPEC was causing worries for the ‘enemies’. He said, “The nation should realise who is actually trying to make CPEC controversial.”

“CPEC is a national project. As soon as Pakistan came into takeoff position, some people have started to oppose it,” Ahsan Iqbal stated.
