Notification issued for 90 day extension in power of Sindh Rangers

The Rangers were given powers under Anti-Terrorism Act 1997

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Interior Ministry has issued notification regarding the extension in powers and stay of Rangers in Sindh.

As per details, the powers of Rangers have been been extended for another 90 days.

According to the Interior Ministry, the Rangers were given powers under Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.

Meanwhile, the interior ministry has also rejected the proposal of the provincial government for extension in the powers under certain conditions.

The interior ministry has not made the recommendations of the provincial government as part of the notification.
