Rangers arrest eight suspects in separate raids in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers personnel on Monday have arrested as many as eight suspects in different targeted operations in Karachi after getting extension in special powers.

According to details, banned outfit terrorists Saeed-ul-Hassan aka China and Umar Aijaz involved in attack on security officers were detained from Jackson and Civil Line areas.

In Hyderi, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) London’s Saleem aka Choosni was apprehended on the accusations of extortion and wall chalking whereas two target killers Furqan and Abu Bakar were taken into custody from Pak Colony.

The officers also held two dacoits identified as Ibrahim and Sikandar from Nazimabad while gangwar worker Asif Pathan was arrested in Jackson.

Rangers spokesman said that huge cache of weapons was also confiscated from the possession of the culprits while they have been shifted to undisclosed place for further interrogation.
