LAHORE (Dunya News) – Unannounced power outages in the country has landed the people into an unending misery.
Numerous cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sargodha and Sheikhupura are going through hours long unscheduled loadshedding.
The urban cities are witnessing 14-16 hours of outages whereas the rural areas are undergoing 18-20 hours of power cut.
The government’s promise to eliminate the longstanding problem of the country has come to a dark end.
Surging temperatures coupled with power cuts is giving a tough time to the public.
In Lahore, some areas are experiencing 24 hours of loadshedding however in others the situation is completely opposite.
GOR, Governor House, Wapda office, airport, Wapda Town workshop and all the hospitals do not undergo power cut as Lesco has declared 44 feeders and industrial independent feeders as loadshedding free.
