Sukkur: Newborn thrown into trash bin, dogs kept tearing up body
The newborn had a premature birth, and was thrown into rubbish, guards saved body from dogs
SUKKUR: (Dunya News) – A premature newborn was on Monday thrown into the rubbish where its body was torn apart by the dogs. The locals and guards saved the body from the dogs, reported Dunya News.
The dogs were carrying the body of the newborn in a teaching hospital in Sukkur, Ghulam Muhammad Mehar Medical College. The people present on the scene raised the issue, upon which the security guards rescued the body from the dogs.
The security guards took the body then in a plastic bag to the hospital where medical tests were conducted. The eyewitnesses told that the dogs had found the body from the trash heaped behind the hospital’s rear.
On the other hand, the hospital administration was completely unaware of the situation. They told that a lady had given premature birth the previous night and it was stillborn. They told that the relatives of the lady had received the body in order to bury it but they had no idea how it had ended up in the trash.
The hospital administration buried the body after medical test but the people present at the scene were traumatised by what they had witnessed.
