Plane had to land at Karachi airport after flying for two and half years due to bad weather

LAHORE, KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers – Jiyalas – from Islamabad were stuck in Sukkur for several hours due to bad weather in Punjab. After attending PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s death anniversary, the workers kept flying for two and half hours and then had to land at Karachi Airport, reported Dunya News.

158 passengers, including senior PPP leaders, had left Sukkur on PK 390 to reach Islamabad but after flying for two and half hours the plane had to land finally at Karachi airport. The plane had to go to Islamabad via Lahore but when it was just 19 minutes from Lahore, it was told to head back.

The captain returned to Sukkur but realised that the weather in Sukkur was also unfit for landing and he had to head to Karachi then.
