Change in uniform will improve police's image: Punjab IG
We raised the packages for martyrs and retired officers of police, IG addressed police officials
LAHORE: (Daily Dunya) – Punjab police Inspector General (IG) Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has said that the change in police uniform with help improve its image, reported Dunya News.
While addressing the police officials and officers in Sahiwal, Punjab IG said that the police system in the province has been computerised in line with the modern trends in order to change the police culture. Now the information about a criminal is available at one click only, he said.
Sukhera said that the packages for martyrs and retired officers have been improved.
Punjab IG was presented with salute by a team of police officers upon his arrival at police lines. He paid visits to the graves of the martyrs on the occasion and also distributed prizes among the officers for good performance.
