Polling for by-election in PB-7 Ziarat underway

Eight candidates are contesting for PB-7 seat in Sanjavi.

ZIARAT (Dunya News) - Polling for by-election on Balochistan Assembly seat PB-7 Ziarat is underway.

According to an official of Election Commission in Quetta, fifty-nine polling stations have been set up in the constituency for a total 59728 voters.



A close competition is expected among three candidates including Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F) Khaleel-ur-Rehman Domar, Sardar Habib-ur-Rehman  of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Noor Muhammad Domar.

PB-7 seat fell vacant after the death of JUI-F s Gul Muhammad Domar who passed away due to heart failure earlier this year.

Voting process would continue till 5PM.
