Khawaja Izhar ul-Hassan says PPP wouldn't have given a package for Thatta in ten years like PM's

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders have on Tuesday expressed a desire to meet Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif. Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Khawaja Izhar ul-Hassan said that PM gave a package for Thatta that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) wouldn’t have given in next ten years. He said that PM should also announce a package for Karachi, reported Dunya News.

Is it the preparation for the election or just a new wave of love? All is still unknown but fact is that meetings are being held. Muslim League – Functional delegation also reached out to MQM today, meeting its leaders in PIB Colony.

Talking to media afterwards, Khawaja Izhar ul-Hassan also praised PM Nawaz. He also congratulated Shirazi brothers for such a huge package for Thatta. He also criticised Sindh government on the occasion, saying that the provincial government was begging for alms from the rich people even for cleaning the city. He said that Sindh Chief Minister was trying to do all the things that a mayor should do.

PML-F leader Nand Kumar also announced support for MQM on the occasion and said that PPP has looted Sindh for several years. "We ll support MQM to get rid of PPP", he said.
