The PPP Co-chairman suggested that if other parties were not on the same page then the matter could be solved by mutual consultation. “Our doors for negotiation remain open whether it is for the government or army”, he added.

Meanwhile, PPP has recommended a one-year extension for military courts. “We will take the matter to parliament. According to our recommendation, the alleged criminals should be presented in court for remand within 24 hours”, PPP former Chairman told.

He also commented on Rangers’ powers while claiming that they were different in Sindh than in other provinces. “We were told that the law and power will not be misused against provinces and politicians. Some people became victim of the law who are not terrorists” he added.

Asif Zardari used the words “Jet Black” for terrorism and claimed Doctor Asim was wrongly included in the Jet Black. While responding to a question, he said that the government had enough money to rebuilt roads but not for implementing National Action Plan (NAP).

The PPP leader vowed to make NAP successful with the help of his political allies and made it clear that their purpose was not to demoralise the army.
