Recent eight terror attacks were planned in Afghanistan, stated senior anchorperson Kamran Khan.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan has irrefutable evidence that all eight terror attacks in the country were planned and supervised in Afghanistan, stated senior anchorperson Kamran Khan.

In response to curb terror activities, Pakistan has closed various crossing points on Pak-Afghan border including Chaman, Angur Ada and Torkham as a result of which all trade activities of Afghanistan via Pakistan are at standstill.

Kamran Khan stated that Pak-Afghan trade volume soared to $2 billion in 2015. Afghanistan is a landlocked country with no seaport. Pakistan provides transit to Afghanistan which is commonly known as Afghan transit trade. Afghanistan imports goods worth $8 billion every year and 50pc of this reaches Afghanistan via Pakistan.

To a question about impact of Pakistan’s decision pertaining to closure of crossing points, former president of Quetta chamber of commerce Jamal Tarakai stated that Kabul is suffering Rs300 million loss per day in term of revenue collection.
