ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and his children on Tuesday have submitted another petition in Supreme Court (SC) agianst Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) additional documents.

In the petition, the court was appealed to either dismiss the additional documents submitted by PTI chief Imran Khan or adjourn the hearing for eight weeks.

The plaintiffs stated that their lawyers would not be able to argue on the documents as the opposition party submitted them after the completion of their counsels’ justification.

It was also demanded in the appeal that if court wants to include the documents in Panama Leaks record then it should give time of eight weeks to PML-N lawyers.

The request further insisted to launch legal proceeding on pleas filed against Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen as they have also not disposed of allegations regarding ownership of offshore companies whereas Imran Khan has also not provided money trail of London flats.

On the other hand, a five-member larger bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa has resumed hearing of Panama Papers case.

National Accountability Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry and Federal Board of Revenue chairman Dr. Mohammad Irshad are present in the apex court.

Earlier, Minister of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that PTI was trying to mislead SC by submitting false documents in Panama papers case.

Speaking at a press conference along with Pakistan Muslim League(N) Member National Assembly Daniyal Aziz, he said PMLN completely rejected the facts and figures presented by PTI in the court.

The minister said lawyers of all sides had completed arguments in Panama Papers case but PTI yet again submitted more bundle of papers, which were nothing but falsehood, fraud and baseless allegations.

Tariq Fazal said the PTI leader abused every national institution; National Accountability Bureau, Federal Board of Revenue, Election Commission and others.
