Punjab CM presents cheques to families of two policemen martyred in Lahore blast

SAHIWAL (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday visited the residences of policemen who were martyred in Lahore blast on Monday.

The CM went to Sahiwal and met with the family of martyred head constable Asmat Ali.

He said that the government is responsible for the upbringing of Asmat Ali’s children and will fulfill their duty.

He asserted that the family will continue to receive the salary whereas Punjab government will bear all the expenses of the children’s education and treatment.

He presented the widow with Rs1 crore cheque as financial aid.

Later, he offered Fateha at the grave of Asmat Ali.



Punjab CM also visited the residence of martyred constable Muhammad Nadeem in Renala Khurd and met his family.

He presented them with a cheque for financial assistance.



He vowed that the sacrifices of the martyrs will not go in vain and the battle will continue till the elimination of terrorism.
