SSP Zahid Mehmood Gondal laid to rest in Sandan
Funeral, burial of SSP Zahid Gondal offered who was martyred in Lahore blast
MANDI BAHAUDDIN (Dunya News) – The brave officer SSP Zahid Mehmood Gondal, martyred on duty during Lahore blast at Charing Cross of Mall Road, was buried in his ancestral village Sandan.
His funeral prayer was attended by several police officials, relatives, locales and others which made the gathering large. He was professional as well as courageous who was paying full attention to fulfill his duty.
SPP Zahid was brought from Lahore in a helicopter to Sandan and clothed in national flag before burial. His relatives were in deep pain and grief for the loss.
Police SSP Zahid Mehmood Gondal was offering the services of acting DIG Operations after the displacement of Dr. Haider Ashraf. Before appointment in Lahore, he was stationed as Rajanpur DPO.
