Amendment made to Sindh Tevta Act 2010
Shahid Thahim has been appointed the chairman of the technical education body.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh government has issued notification of an amendment to the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Act 2010, reported Dunya News.
According to the special amendment made in the Act, the special adviser would also be eligible to become chairperson.

It is pertinent to mention that the adviser is usually an employee of grade 18, however with the new move, six provincial secretaries of grade 20 would be answerable to the newly appointed chairman.
Meanwhile, the higher court has already issued orders of authorities not be given to special advisers.
