Ban will be imposed on children aged less than 14 years to work, Sindh CM furious over HESCO, SESCO

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Sindh Assembly has on Wednesday approved the bill against child labour, barring the children less than 14 years of age from working, reported Dunya News.

The bill was approved unanimously. According to the bill, children aged less than 14 years will not be able to work in 33 fields.

During the session, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Surath Thebo presented a call attention notice over the threats being received by Sheema Kirmani. Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah assured of the provision of security to the artist.

Murad Ali Shah also seemed furious over the load shedding in the province. He told Hyderabad’s HESCO and Sukkur’s SESCO to either provide electricity to the people or leave the province.

One-wheeling also came under discussion during the session. Government said that a law was already in place for this issue and it was also being implemented strictly.
