PM will either resign or go to jail: Imran Khan
PTI chief asserted that Nawaz Sharif has lost moral, constitutional ground to remain PM
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan slams Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif once again. He asserted that the PM has lost all moral and constitutional ground to remain in office.
PTI chief met Babar Awan at Bani Gala. The discussion was held on Panama Leaks case as well as reference against the disqualification of Shehbaz Sharif.
Imran Khan asserted that either PM Nawaz will resign or go to jail. “People cannot go back from the war against corruption. The whole cabinet is defending the accused”, he added.
He suggested that decision on disqualifying Shehbaz Sharif in Punjab Assembly should be made according to the constitution.
During the occasion, Senator Babar Awan said that disqualification reference against Shehbaz Sharif has been sent after complete preparations. “Nawaz Sharif should disclose his worldwide assets”, he demanded.
He claimed that PM Nawaz is spending public wealth to hide his corruption.
