CJP takes suo moto against 6-year-old girl's rape in Karachi
Little girl was brought to Civil Hospital in serious condition, was shifted to ICU after operation
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Supreme Court Justice Saqib Nisar takes suo moto action on Friday of 6-year-old girl’s rape in Karachi. The girl was found beside Korangi Causeway during Thursday.
According to the ML report, it was confirmed that the little girl was raped as well as tortured. Unidentified persons chocked her in an attempted murder. She was also attacked by a sharp weapon which made bruises on her neck and arm. It was earlier reported that the 6-year-old girl was raped and thrown in stream.
Police Surgeon Doctor Ejaz handed over the report to investigating officer. She was checked by a two-member team of lady MLOs. The Deputy Medical Superintendent told that her condition is out of danger now.
Her parents stepped forward after one day. They arrived at the hospital while in deep pain. Brother of the girl’s mother arrived at Ibrahim Hyderi police station to record statement.
Police have registered a case and has told that they are investigating the matter.
