Gujranwala: Patient dies due to alleged negligence of hospital staff
Haji Mushaq was brought to Civil Hospital Gujranwala where doctors referred him to dialysis center
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – A patient died owing to the alleged negligence of the staff of Civil Hospital Gujranwala, reported Dunya News.
According to details, 60 years old Haji Mushaq was brought to Civil Hospital Gujranwala where doctors suggested dialysis to him all of a sudden.
However, the staff of dialysis center first asks the patient to wait for one hour and later on let the patient wait for two hours citing the unavailability of space as the reason for doing so.
While waiting for his turn, the patient’s situation got extremely critical and he died owing to unavailability of proper treatment.
The relatives protest against the negligence of the hospital administration.
It is also pertinent to mentioned that 20-25 patients come each day for dialysis and there are only ten machines for dialysis.
